how to know your marketing works

You know your offer works when you get leads.

I was talking about this with a client this week:

No matter what marketing you’re creating… the end result is more leads.

You might call them prospects, inbound DMs, booked calls, or something else.

The goal is getting a response.

Even if you’re chasing branding, you still want engagement.

You want to be the person your audience thinks of when they have a problem you can solve.

So, what happens when this breaks down?

You need new messaging.

Mr. Beast says this really well, “Anytime you say the word algorithm, just replace it with audience”.

Similarly, if you are not getting the right type of leads or enough of them… it’s not the algorithm.

It’s your messaging.

It’s not connecting with your audience the way it needs to.

Just a reminder as we go into Q2 that it’s essential to let the calculator decide in marketing.

There’s a lot of noise when it comes to running your business.

At the end of the day, your business is doing well if you’re getting more customers (profitably).
