The longer you are in business, the easier sales should be.

Then why do sales stay the same- or get harder?

The reason being that sales skills give you barely any leverage when it comes to growing your business.

Let me explain.

Let’s say you’re the best sales person.

You probably won’t be able to sell ice to eskimos.

Or hot dogs to vegans.

Or neurological tests to Joe Biden.

Because underlying ever sale is the idea of fit.

If it’s a fit, that’s a fact, and the sale becomes a matter of fact.

That’s why I love marketing.

Here’s a brief example with our clients Adam and Vince:

We’ve been running ads for Adam and Vince to sell their Airbnb coaching offers.

And we had our highest sale, $4k, closed from a stranger on IG.

How’d this happen?

  1. We ran ads driving followers to their IG page to solve a specific problem.

  2. We put out bite-sized content demonstrating we can solve that problem.

  3. We offer a more complete solution when they chat with us.

  4. They get on a phone call and buy.

The “sales” part is the last step.

There’s 3 big hurdles a stranger must go through first.
